well the train station in los angels is 101 Alameda (at Union station (kind of hard to miss)note you can also catch the same train at Glendale, burbank and Van Nuys and sometime even Chatsworth
well techinally a bus that stops there not the train
    this is what i found:
    Santa Maria
    205 S. Nicholson Ave
    US 101 @ Main Street
    Santa Maria, CA 93454
    Location: IHOP Restaurant
    Phone: 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245)
    Route: 17, 18A, 21

The Santa Maria stop is located at the International House of Pancakes, Nicholson Avenue and Main Street, just off Rte 101. It is an unstaffed stop for Amtrak Motor Coaches connecting to Amtrak trains in Santa Barbara (the Pacific Surfliners) and Hanford (the San Joaquins). Neither tickets, baggage, nor package express shipments are handled at this location. The nearest stations to Santa Maria offering these services is either San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara.

International House of Pancakes staff should not be expected to know Amtrak bus arrival and departure times.

Tickets may be purchased from an Amtrak travel agent, over the telephone from Amtrak at 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245) or over the internet from Amtrak’s home page, http://www.tickets.amtrak.com

Amtrak passengers wishing to connect to Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner southbound in the morning should meet the train in Guadalupe, about ten miles west on Rte 166.

Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner runs from LA to Guadalupe twice a day. Amtrak provides shuttle service from Guadalupe to Santa Maria. Check amtrak.com
