I agree this was a few years before MTV premiered. Video recording and editing equipment cost tens of thousands and the effects were so so. Nowadays grade school kids can do this stuff on a netbook even.
The cheap production values make me feel nostalgic for the time, even the cheap looking 70′s clothes make me wish for those days. Most people were’nt doing that well and you didn’t feel like you had to spend big bucks to look good.
